Sweet 21st Birthday ♥ part 2

Hi, I promised a second post on my 21st birthday, so here it is :) So, I celebrated my birthday with my family the next day, dad promised to celebrate my birthday at my favourite restaurant! Since all my family members love seafood, I chose Perlama to satisfy our cravings yey! I had not been there for quite a long time, so I was quite excited for the family dinner! 

For your information, Perlama located in Port Klang and I can say, the mantis prawns are the bestest of the best! It also has other famous dishes as well. Oh btw, if you wish to go there, it would be better to make reservation first. If not, you may end up waiting for 2 hours just for the food to arrive. 

So, we arrived early for dinner before the restaurant become crowded.

Honey sotongs! First time ordering this, and they were soooo sooo good! 

Perlama is  famous for seafood porridge, here is how it looks like! I am not a porridge lover, but this has completely won my heart :)

Salted egg mantis prawns, my favourite dish among all! I almost completed the whole dish by myself haha! (cholesterol level shoots up 10000x)

Also one of their famous dishes, fried yam tempura! 

Had a really scrumptious dinner that day, thanks dad!

Sweet 21st Birthday ♥

I feel so sorry for not updating my blog often, so here is my 21st birthday post. I feel really grateful to have friends and family to celebrate my 21st birthday with me, it is definitely one of my best memories in my life! My birthday fell on last Wed, which is 6th March, I decided to celebrate my birthday in Neway (Y) after handing in the most dreadful assignment (yes, my birthday fell on the same as assignment due date) 

Headed to friend's house to doll up after that :) Here are some pictures :)

After a few hours of singing, they surprised me with the birthday cake and gift. OKAY, it was not very surprised after all, I am kind of good in guessing/ I am quite observant hahaha! So buay pai seh..

CNY New Buys

Hi guys, I feel really guilty for not updating often, sorrieee! This will be a short update on some new buys for CNY! Have been really busy with assignments recently, thanks god two assignments are down, and two more to go! Have to submit another assignment before CNY :(

The beginning of 2013 is not a good start for me, assignment due dates were so near and I have to rushhh like mad :( And of course, some bad things happened as well, nvm, let bygones be bygones! I will work hard for it though :D

Here are my new buys:

Got the phone casings from Taobao, they are really cheap! My friend from China helped me to get them, thanks friend! The color is pretty right? HAHA

Some CNY apparels. I did not get many this year :( But I guess they are enough for a week? The accessories I got are really cheap, like less than RM10 each and the quality is good as well!

This is not my new buy, I cheated lol! I bought this pair of wedges a year ago, and I only wore it for once! Plus my mum disallowed me from buying shoes, so this is my CNY shoes LOL!

New Year Resolutions

Trying my best to blog as often as I can, January is a busy month, busy with assignments and exam :( Pls let this end soon, I can't handle this stress :(

Haven't been blogging about my new year resolutions, I actually wrote my new year resolutions on new year eve! I seldom did this, ok, this was my first time writing new year resolutions like a kid haha! And I hope I can achieve everything I wrote this year :D *finger-crossed* 

#1 Dye my hair
I always wanted to dye purple hair, but I think I would go for marshmallow brown this time :D I wanna dye it before CNY!!

#2 Be a gym rat 
I need to sign up for gym this year, I gained too much weight last year :( I want a perfect body figure before my trip to Krabi with course mates! :D I wanna gym as often as I can, maybe thrice a week? Hopefully time allows me to do that!

#3 45kg 
I am currently 49kg wtf! See, I gained about 4kg last year :( So sad! I need to work out more often or cut down on fattening food this year, and I want to maintain 45kg throughout 2013!

#4 Study hard
I'm now a final year student, I need to study hard to get good grades for now! Tried to study real hard, but there are so many distractions around me. Maybe I need to stay away from those distractions first :D

#5 New pair of spectacles
Been wearing the current pair for about 5 years, I know I need to change it every year, but I am quite afraid to know that my power increases again :( Hopefully nooo! I can still see the words on blackboard clearly! I need to overcome my fear and face the truth this year, sighhhh!

#6 21st birthday 
I'm 21 years old this year *throw confetti* I wanna celebrate the time of my life this year, I wanna plan it bigg and spend my birthday with the ones I love and care :D Maybe a short trip?

#7 Krabi 
We went Singapore last year, and this year, we planned to have a more relaxing getaway, by spending our time on bench! We planned to go to Krabi this coming September, I am still searching on villas, any recommendations for cheap villas?

#8 Save money 
I'm not a people that saves money :( Even though everytime I tell myself I need to save money, but I always ended up spending them :( I hate myself for being like that ughhh! So I really hope I can save up my money this year, I wanna save a lotttt for my coming trip :D

Last Day of 2012

#ootd in Genting! 

Hi, I have been away for quite sometimes, sorry guys! I have the urge to blog on the last day of 2012, reminiscing about what I have done throughout 2012. 2012 has been a relatively good year to me, I learnt something new and achieved almost everything on my wishlist! I'm quite proud of myself :D

Browsed through all my pictures in 2012 and found that I have given so many 'first times' to 2012! Overall, my 2012 is about work, study, play and most importantly, FOOD! Tried so many yummy food this year, and I had gained 3kg #fml WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TO ME! Time to head to gym in 2013 :D

So I have given my first times to:

#1  Parasailing
Tried this in Pattaya, I was so indecisive initially, I wanted to try but I was too scared, this is a lil too chi kek for me! My aunts and uncles encouraged me to try it, and I overcome my fear and tried it! It was soooo fun and I wanted to try again!

#2 Feeding a tiger cub

This was in Pattaya as well, I have given so many first times to Pattaya lol! This was my first time feeding a tiger cub, this lil fella just couldn't sit still and let us feed him -.- It was a relatively good experience anyway! 

#3 Internship 
It was a painful experience that I wouldn't want to recall :( Been working there for more than 3 months and honestly, I learnt a lot of things from my seniors and colleagues. But, why would I say it was a painful experience? There is a senior who is so full of herself and scolded me nearly everyday, sometimes with no reason #fml I curse you to death man! I revenged and everyone in the office boycotted her, she should learn how to respect people, not just to me, but to everyone! Besides the stupid senior, I actually have very nice and friendly colleagues and bosses to work with! :D

#4 Trip with Uni-mates! 

We went to Singapore before some of my friends flew to UK for studies. It was the most unforgettable trip I have ever had! It was a very simple trip, but I really enjoyed the four days trip with them! We should plan another, shouldn't we? Any suggestions? Krabi/Bali/Phuket? I'm still considering.. and where can I get cheap villas in Bali? 

I miss them so much D:

#5 Cousin's Wedding

It was my first time attending a wedding in other state. We went down to Batu Pahat to attend my cousin sister's wedding, I remember I haven't finish blogging the last part of the wedding :( Pls forgive me! :( The wedding actually helped me and relatives to grow stronger bonds with each other, because we stayed under one roof for about 3 days, we gambled and did everything together :D 

#6 Christmas Dinner

It was my first time cooking dinner for my family members, I actually started planning for this a month before Christmas with sister and everything turned out good, but one dish failed :( I couldn't make the taroballs :'( I will try it again next time, maybe during CNY? I hope I have time for that! So we had a very filling dinner- wine, salad, pan-fried chicken, spaghetti and red beans soup, as a way to celebrate Christmas!

Of Wedding, Food and Relative 2

Hi people, I would like to wish all of you Happy Deepavali before I proceed, do visit your Indian friends for some lamb curry and muruku! Okay let's continue, this's a super overdue post, I promised to blog as often as possible, but I kind of lost my inspiration to blog :( So sorry guys, pls forgive me :) 

So, the next morning, I woke up super early to get ready for the wedding ceremony, I think I was the first person to wake up among all my cousins =.= You know, girls take very long time to dress up and make up, so that explains why I woke up so early lol

The bridegroom is heree! 

The bridegroom told us, he was going to bring 2 'heng dais' only, but on the actual day, he brought about 6 'heng dais' =.= Our games turned out to be too easy for them lol

First game- to pick which plate of chips to eat and if he's lucky enough to pick the salty one, he has to finish all! 

Okay, they picked the salty one, so lucky right! But, this is really too easy for them, they even told us the chips taste nice lol 

Second game- To pick up the coins from the water with the amount we wanted, each of them has only one chance to take the coins from the water and its has to be the amount we wanted haha! It's abit tricky hehe 

This is a must-have game right? One heng dai will have to finish the whole apple without using his hands! Others can carry or piggyback him or whatever!

After the tea ceremony, we headed to the bridegroom's house to meet the bridegroom's side relatives and buffet lunch :)
