Father's Day Celebration 2013

Casual #ootd for Father's day :)

Hi lovelies! Father's day fell on last Sunday, how did you guys celebrate it?
I celebrated Father's day one day earlier with my cousins, uncles and aunties in my house! It was more like a family gathering and we had so much fun and food. To be frank, I had never ate so much before, I think I went for more than 5 rounds of steamboat :(
#dietplanfailed #dietalwaysstartstomorrow LOL

Prepared everything by ourselves and we used about 5 hours to settle everything, pretty busy :( And mum kept complaining about the workload LOL
And and and, I baked 3 cakes on my own too (fyi, 2 marble cakes, 1 coffee cake), but the cakes were out of my expectation :( They looked quite terrible HAHA Coffee cake was a total failure (was a little burnt)!

Party started..

Some of the ingredients for steamboat!
And do you guys see three black cakes? HAHA they weren't burnt no worries, the one on the left was coffee cake, the remaining ones were marble cakes haha! Pfft so ugly :'(
But my uncles and aunties said the cakes tasted good LOL *not that bad after all*

Drooling?

I ate a lot of processed food that day, guilty max #fml

My little nephew :) He loves to eat, he can eat literally everything LOL

Grandpa and grandson aww :')

Do we look alike? Hmm, I don't think so!

And lastly, Happy Father's day once again daddy! Thanks for showering us with unconditional love and gave us unlimited support and care no matter what! U know we love you :)

Edited using Photowonder :)

Next post: Another baking experience :)
Stay tuned guys! Thanks for reading!

Sweet 21st Birthday ♥ part 2

Hi, I promised a second post on my 21st birthday, so here it is :) So, I celebrated my birthday with my family the next day, dad promised to celebrate my birthday at my favourite restaurant! Since all my family members love seafood, I chose Perlama to satisfy our cravings yey! I had not been there for quite a long time, so I was quite excited for the family dinner!

For your information, Perlama located in Port Klang and I can say, the mantis prawns are the bestest of the best! It also has other famous dishes as well. Oh btw, if you wish to go there, it would be better to make reservation first. If not, you may end up waiting for 2 hours just for the food to arrive.

So, we arrived early for dinner before the restaurant become crowded.
The view.

Jeng Jeng Jeng Jeng, here comes the food!
Famous steamed lalas!

Honey sotongs! First time ordering this, and they were soooo sooo good!

Perlama is  famous for seafood porridge, here is how it looks like! I am not a porridge lover, but this has completely won my heart :)

Salted egg mantis prawns, my favourite dish among all! I almost completed the whole dish by myself haha! (cholesterol level shoots up 10000x)

Also one of their famous dishes, fried yam tempura!

Had a really scrumptious dinner that day, thanks dad!

Okay, I would also like to thank my friends and family for the presents I received:

Of Wedding, Food and Relative 2

I looked awkward right? #ootd- dress from H&M, and wedges from Vincci, feather earring from a random accesories shop

Hi people, I would like to wish all of you Happy Deepavali before I proceed, do visit your Indian friends for some lamb curry and muruku! Okay let's continue, this's a super overdue post, I promised to blog as often as possible, but I kind of lost my inspiration to blog :( So sorry guys, pls forgive me :)

So, the next morning, I woke up super early to get ready for the wedding ceremony, I think I was the first person to wake up among all my cousins =.= You know, girls take very long time to dress up and make up, so that explains why I woke up so early lol

A picture with my dearest cousin sister before we get busy with everything! Can you see that I have two different skin tones especially on my arm? :(

Prepared all the games before the bridegroom arrived

The last minute game lol

After done with the preparations, time to take picture with the bride, my pretty cousin sister woots!

All the 'ji muis'! We were supposed to dress in pink, but white looked good too right? (Y)

The bridegroom is heree!

The bridegroom told us, he was going to bring 2 'heng dais' only, but on the actual day, he brought about 6 'heng dais' =.= Our games turned out to be too easy for them lol

First game- to pick which plate of chips to eat and if he's lucky enough to pick the salty one, he has to finish all!

Okay, they picked the salty one, so lucky right! But, this is really too easy for them, they even told us the chips taste nice lol

Second game- To pick up the coins from the water with the amount we wanted, each of them has only one chance to take the coins from the water and its has to be the amount we wanted haha! It's abit tricky hehe

This is a must-have game right? One heng dai will have to finish the whole apple without using his hands! Others can carry or piggyback him or whatever!

Ze professional photgraphers of the day!

He broke the rule =.=

Rested for a while before continuing another game!

The next game- it's confession time! He has to explain what he's drawing to the bride and sing her a song :) So sweet right?

A heng dai tried to break in, and the door broke LOL
You know who broke the door? It's the fat guy lol

Tsktsktsk!

Negotiating~

The last negotiation before meeting the bride
the kid behind is so adorable right?

So sweet!

After the tea ceremony, we headed to the bridegroom's house to meet the bridegroom's side relatives and buffet lunch :)

Light refreshments before the heavy lunch!

Pretty car isn't! So it worths a picture!

There is another post on the wedding dinner, I don't know when I will blog about it, hopefully the inspiration comes to me soon! That's all guys xoxo!
